Other relevant tips:
Consider the height of your floral arrangements and candles. You want guests to be able to see over them and talk with the guests across from them.
If you prefer a more is more look, multiply your Xs & Os results by 2.
If you are serving dinner family style, consider the size of your serving dishes, too. Decor should not be to the detriment of experience. Use smaller arrangements or remove the arrangements from the table before dinner is served.
