Hey Party People!

Let’s talk Super Bowl! I’m way less invested in who you are rooting for on the field (though we should all be rooting for Bad Bunny during halftime).

I am much more interested in what you are eating while you watch.

At the top of this month, I decided that Jordan and I would only be eating out one time and ordering takeout one time for the whole month. Everything else needed to be prepared at home. Groceries and creativity was the name of the game. And anything I was craving, I was signing myself up to make it! It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I love cooking and trying new recipes so it was also fun for me. We are going to continue this mandate in February, and that means my usual Super Bowl watch party spread would be completely home made! I’m thinking wings, beef sliders, cheesy bread sticks, and fries.

For the beef sliders, I called chef Jahvel Fraser and he joined us on Soirée School to give me a few tips to elevate my burger station. Spoiler: his recommendations include a beef blend, beef tallow, and a LOT of salt. Tap in!!
